Named for private equity industry pioneer and Gies Business alumnus Stanley Golder, the three Golder Academies offer advanced academic and career-building opportunities to explore professions in the finance sector. Through professional development activities, on-site finance firm visits, networking opportunities, and advanced technical training, the Academies provide an experience that prepares you for a rewarding career with a top firm in investment banking, investment management, venture capital, private equity, or corporate finance.
Exclusive opportunities for exceptional students
Outstanding undergraduate finance majors are eligible to apply to the Investment Banking and Investment Management Academy. The Finance Academy, open to all undergraduate students, serves to prepare students either for Academy paths or for their careers at Gies and beyond.
In addition, the top students in the Academies are recognized as Golder Scholars, a distinction that offers additional opportunities for professional development activities in their chosen field as well as scholarship eligibility.
